A week of winter events in January at Blatten-Belalp around the witch theme. The highlight is Saturday with the Hexenabfahrt (Witches' Race), a prestigious 12 km ski race from Hohstock (3100 m) to Blatten. The program also includes Witches Nights and a children's festival. This tradition, dating back over 43 years, is inspired by an ancient Valais legend.
