The Belalp Hexe is a traditional popular ski race since 1983, based on an old Valais legend. A January week full of events culminating Saturday with the grand Witch Descent race, where participants can compete as skiers or costumed witches. Entertainment program featuring Witches Nights and Hexen-Kinderfest. Course spanning 12 km from Hohstock (3100 m) to Blatten (1300 m) with 1800 m elevation drop.
