The Belalp Hexenabfahrt is a popular annual ski race held in January at the Blatten-Belalp ski resort in the Valais region, running for an entire week. Inspired by a Walliser legend, the event features various ski races, witch nights events, and a children's festival. Participants can register as skiers or in witch-costumed groups for this traditional competition that has existed for over 43 years.
