The Belalp Hexenabfahrt is a legendary ski race held for over 40 years at the Blatten-Belalp ski station. Participants can compete as racers or dress as witches to ski down 12 km from Hohstock (3'100m) to Blatten (1'300m) with 1'800m elevation loss. Based on an old Valais legend, this festive event offers a comprehensive program with various races and a children's festival.
