The Belalp Hexe is a popular week-long ski racing event in January, culminating with Saturday's Hexenabfahrt. Participants descend 12 km (1,800 m vertical drop) from Hohstock to Blatten either dressed as witches or as competitive skiers. The event combines competitive racing with a festive atmosphere, offering additional races throughout the week and family activities.
