The Belalp Hexenabfahrt is a traditional ski race held every January since 1983 on the Blatten-Belalp ski resort in Valais. This unique event combines two categories: competitive skiers and groups of costumed witches. With a 12-kilometer course and a vertical drop of 1,800 meters, this legendary race attracts participants and spectators from across Switzerland. A week-long celebration featuring Witches Nights and a children's witch festival makes this a must-attend alpine event.
