The Belalp Hexenabfahrt is a popular ski race held every January in Blatten-Belalp in the Valais. For an entire week, the ski resort celebrates the theme of witches – a local Walliser legend with over 43 years of tradition. The highlight takes place on Saturday with the main descent of 12 km (1800m vertical drop), featuring categories for competitive racers and costumed witch participants. A festive, mystical mountain experience with racing, children's activities, and special evening programs.
