About
The Hexenabfahrt is a popular week-long ski race in January at Belalp, culminating with the main descent on Saturday. This 12 km race with 1800 m of vertical drop welcomes both competitive racers and participants dressed as witches, all wearing mandatory ski helmets. The event draws inspiration from an old Valais legend and also includes qualifying races, Witches Nights, and a children's festival.
