The Hexenabfahrt is a popular ski race held annually in January at Belalp, Valais. This week-long event culminates with the main witch's downhill on Saturday, covering 12 km from 3100m to 1300m elevation. Participants can compete as racers or dress as witches, creating a festive atmosphere inspired by an ancient local legend.
