Popular ski and snowboard race held for one week in January at Blatten-Belalp. The highlight is Saturday, January 16 with the main Hexenabfahrt race: 12 km of spectacular descent from Hohstock (3'118 m) to Blatten (1'322 m), 1'800 m elevation loss. Participants can compete either as racers (skis only) or as costumed « witches » (skis or snowboard). Festive atmosphere with witches nights and children's festivities.
