About
The Knabenschiessen is the oldest folk festival in the city of Zurich, with roots dating back to the 17th century. For three days, the Albisgütli district hosts a shooting competition unique in the world for all 13 to 17-year-olds from the canton of Zurich, who compete for the title of shooting king or queen. The festival also features the largest and most attractive fair (Chilbi) in Switzerland, delighting over 800,000 visitors each year with its latest rides and culinary offerings. The event is organized by the Zurich Shooting Society with over 300 volunteers.
