Sechseläuten is Zurich's renowned spring festival organized by the city's historic guilds (zünfte). The 2027 edition (April 16–19) welcomes Lucerne as the guest canton. Highlights include a reception with local specialties at Lindenhof (Friday), balls (Saturday), children's parade (Sunday), and the main guild procession with the Böögg burning ceremony (Monday). A colorful, tradition-rich event showcasing Zurich's guild heritage and inter-cantonal cultural exchange.
