About
For conductor Heinz Holliger, Schumann has always been central to his musical world, as has the poet Friedrich Hölderlin, a tormented figure deemed 'insane' by society. This ambitious concert brings together the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra with the SWR Vokalensemble to explore this profound connection. The vocal ensemble brings Hölderlin's words to life through the music of Schumann, Reimann and Kurtág, creating a rich dialogue between literature and music at KKL Luzern.
