Sächsilüüte is Zurich's main spring festival, bringing together the city's traditional guilds. Every year since 1991, an invited Swiss canton presents its culture with exhibitions, entertainment and culinary specialties at Lindenhof. The festival climaxes with the guilds' procession and the burning of the Böögg, symbolically marking spring's arrival. A festive, convivial celebration rooted in Zurich's traditions.
