About
For Heinz Holliger, Schumann has always been at the center of his artistic work. This concert explores the connection between Schumann and poet Friedrich Hölderlin, two suffering figures misunderstood by society. The Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra and SWR Vocal Ensemble perform works by Schumann, Reimann, and Kurtág, revealing how these composers dialogue around melancholy and creative genius.
