Laura Vazquez, winner of the 2023 Prix Goncourt for Poetry, offers a philosophical and poetic novel about a young queer woman seeking the invisible forces that govern our lives. Drawing on Spinoza, she explores how we are shaped by forces of which we are unaware. With corporeal, enigmatic and rhythmic language, this novel reflects on how to stay grounded in life.
