Laura Vazquez is a promising French author who first gained recognition as a poet and won the Prix Goncourt de la poésie in 2023. Her novel The Forces is a passionate, philosophical and poetic text that plays with the codes of the bildungsroman. She tells the story of a young queer woman searching for the invisible forces that govern our lives.
