Laura Vazquez: The Forces

About

Laura Vazquez is a promising French author, initially noted as a poet and winner of the Prix Goncourt de la poésie in 2023. Her novel is an impetuous, philosophical and poetic text that plays with the codes of the bildungsroman. She tells the story of a young queer woman searching for the invisible forces that govern our lives. With corporeal, enigmatic and rhythmic language, the novel becomes a physical experience. Simultaneous translation into German.
