About
Julia Weber tells the story of Ruth, a girl born covered with fur, gifted with the power to temporarily transform humans into animals. From Ruth's perspective unfolds a poetic narrative about belonging, exclusion and the search for her place in the world. With her distinctive, sensual language, Weber interweaves coming-of-age with magical realism. A story as fragile as it is powerful about identity, vulnerability and the freedom to be different.
