About
Heinz Holliger has always placed Robert Schumann « at the center of his musical thinking. » The program also explores poet Friedrich Hölderlin, a visionary figure marginalized by 19th-century society. This evening, with the LFCO and SWR Vokalensemble, unites two creative souls tormented by beauty and crisis, revealing deep affinities between the romantic composer and the visionary poet.
