Fumetto places comics at the centre as an art form and experiments with the possibilities of visual storytelling across different art forms. Every spring, over nine days, the festival presents in Lucerne the most important comic artists and emerging talents from around the world, with around 8 main and 50 satellite exhibitions spread across the city and its agglomeration. Handouts, guided tours, readings, talks and live drawing offer a fascinating insight into the world of comics, for adults, teenagers and children.
