Fumetto places comics at the centre as an art form and experiments with the possibilities of visual storytelling across different artistic media. Every spring, over nine days, the festival showcases leading comic artists and emerging talents from around the world in Lucerne, with around 8 main exhibitions and 50 satellite shows spread across the city. Handouts, guided tours, readings, talks and live drawing offer a fascinating insight into the world of comics for adults, young people and children.
