An exciting program of contemporary classical works led by participants in the festival's Contemporary-Conducting Program. The concert features compositions by Steve Reich and other major composers, including Jalalu-Kalvert Nelson's « Make American History Great Again? Endangered Dreams ». Nelson, an African American composer based in Biel, engages with contemporary sociopolitical themes in this compelling evening of contemporary music at the KKL's Luzerner Saal.
