About
Schumann's Dichterliebe tells the story of a love that blossoms hopefully 'in the beautiful month of May' and ends in bitter disappointment. For Christian Jost, these sixteen masterworks become the catalyst for a new modern orchestral arrangement that brings the work to contemporary ears. The Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra accompanies soprano Fatma Said and baritone Matthias Goerne in this engaging reinterpretation.
