About
The Samichlaus Procession is an eagerly awaited festive tradition in early December. Saint Nicholas is solemnly carried through the village of Stans, accompanied by Schmutzlis (Santa's helpers), servants and torch bearers. This magical event enchants young and old alike and celebrates Swiss Christmas traditions.
