About
This exhibition traces Nidwalden's resistance to the pressure to conform exerted by the rest of Switzerland in the first half of the 19th century. The mountain canton consistently rejected national projects, asserting its own identity. At the Nidwaldner Museum Salzmagazin in Stans, a little-known chapter of Swiss history is brought to life. A must for history and politics enthusiasts.
