The Knabenschiessen is Zurich's oldest folk festival with roots dating back to the 17th century. For three days at Albisgütli, young people aged 13-17 from Zurich canton compete in a worldwide unique shooting competition for the title of Schützenkönig or Schützenkönigin. One of Switzerland's largest and most attractive fairs with over 800,000 visitors and diverse culinary offerings.
