About
On Thursday of the last full week before Christmas, the children of Weinfelden parade through the streets with decorated and hollowed-out beets, illuminated by lighted candles inside. These glowing vegetables create a magical and colorful procession. A unique Thurgau tradition that delights both children and adults during the Advent season.
