The exhibition shows how Nidwalden repeatedly resisted the pressure to conform exerted by the rest of Switzerland in the first half of the 19th century. The canton rejected all national projects at the time. A historical insight into Nidwalden's identity and independence, presented at the Nidwaldner Museum Salzmagazin.
